Common questions
My alarm didn't ring
In Wakeletics, open Settings → Permissions: Alarms must say ON. If it doesn't, the row offers Allow Alarms or Open iOS Settings — use it. Wakeletics alarms are system alarms, so they ring with the phone locked, in Silent mode and in Focus. If it still happens, tell us your iPhone model and iOS version.
I pressed Stop and it rang again
That is the backup chain: Stop silences one ring, and the next backup is already scheduled. The chain ends when your reps are verified — or when you use Emergency Dismiss on the workout screen, which is always there and always free.
Reps are not counting
Stand the phone at waist-to-chest height, about 2 m away and facing you, so your whole body is in frame. Do full reps, all the way down and back up. If you step closer or further away, keep your hips and knees in the frame; the count follows you. In a dark room the screen lights up to help the camera see you. The practice run in onboarding is a good way to find the right spot.
Does the camera record me?
During a workout, no: frames are analysed on your iPhone and discarded as they arrive. Nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded. The selfie camera opens only when you tap Take a selfie in Share Studio or Take a Photo on your profile, and that photo stays on your phone unless you share or save it yourself.
How does Body Scan work, and what happens to my photo?
Body Scan reads a selfie or mirror photo of your chest or glutes on your iPhone only — nothing is uploaded. The photo isn't kept unless you turn on Keep photos on this iPhone, and Body Scan is never included in iCloud or computer backups. It is for ages 14 and over, and the Shape Score compares you only with your own first scan: it is not a medical, muscle or body-fat measurement. Scanning is free; the score and history come with Wakeletics Pro.
Why don't I see a written insight after my scan?
It is written by Apple's on-device model, available on iPhones with Apple Intelligence on iOS 27 (iPhone 15 Pro and later) with Apple Intelligence turned on. On other iPhones the scan, score and history work the same, just without the two sentences.
Is there a free trial?
No. Wakeletics Free never expires. Wakeletics Pro is a monthly or annual subscription, with the price shown in your currency before you confirm.
How do I cancel Wakeletics Pro?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wakeletics Pro, or in Wakeletics under Settings → Wakeletics Pro → Manage Subscription. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. When it ends, everything that wakes you keeps working and you choose which alarm stays on.
I bought Pro on another iPhone
Open Settings → Wakeletics Pro → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Delete all data removes your alarms, history, settings and Body Scans. There is no account and no Wakeletics server: your data lives only on your iPhone, so deleting the app removes it too. Neither cancels a subscription. The only record outside your iPhone is a Pro purchase, kept by our subscription provider RevenueCat; email us and we will have it deleted.

A note on safety
Wakeletics is not a medical device and gives no medical advice, and the Body Scan Shape Score is not a medical measurement. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Emergency Dismiss on the workout screen ends a session and its backup rings immediately. The morning won't count — that is the honest record — but nothing about Wakeletics is worth pushing through pain for.
